Each year, the Association of Service Providers for Employability and Career Training (ASPECT BC) celebrates the contribution of one organization that has made a significant contribution to community based trainers profile and progress in British Columbia. To recognize the good work of organizations, the Aspect Organization of the Year award is presented to a member that has demonstrated the attributes that most reflect ASPECT values and mission in their community.
On November 3, at the annual ASPECT Conference in Victoria, the ASPECT Organization of the Year award was presented to the Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society. We are honoured to be chosen for the award this year and wish to extend our gratitude to ASPECT BC.
Kelly McBride accepted the award on behalf of Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society from ASPECT board President John Dawson.
