Case Management

Case Managers provide support for 1 year to Government Assisted Refugees that arrive through the Resettlement Assistance Program.

CVIMS Case Managers provide essential and in-depth services including the following:

  • Meeting clients in the community to support at appointments
  • Conduct home visits to ensure clients are comfortable in new home and answer any questions
  • Continue providing basic orientation to Canada, life skills training, healthcare and financial orientations
  • Arranging for Translation & Interpretation services when required
  • Assisting with completing applications for government services
  • Referring to other settlement programs and community agencies
